Amarinth has delivered two separate orders of API 610 pumps, together value £1.2 million, for the West Qurna-2 expansion venture in Iraq.
One of the Amarinth API 610 OH1 pumps with specialist Plan 53B seal assist system prior to shipment to Cannon Artes.
West Qurna-2, situated roughly 65 km north-west of the seaport town of Basra, is probably one of the world’s biggest onshore oilfields. เกจวัดแรงดันไอน้ำ is anticipated to increase the oilfield’s production capability from the present four hundred,000 barrels oil per day (bpd) to 480,000 bpd, with a goal to attain a complete manufacturing capability of 800,000 bpd by 2025.
The first order, from Cannon Artes, was for seven super duplex API 610 OH1 pumps. The bespoke designed pumps are for a low shear application and required specialist Plan 53B seal assist techniques incorporating air cooled seals and stainless-steel accumulators. All electrical gadgets were IECEx certified to be used in an ATEX Zone 2 hazardous area. Despite the global Covid-19 pandemic in the course of the design and manufacture, supply was achieved in the required time of just 32-weeks from order.
The second order, from SICIM, was for 3 tremendous duplex API 610 OH3 vertical in-line pumps for produced water treatment. The large pumps had impellers of over 500mm diameter and the casings, that weigh 1.5 tonnes, had been forged in a foundry in the UK. Plan 53B seal help systems had been designed to fit inside a constrained footprint and because the pumps have been destined for an ATEX Zone 2 area, the motors, seal support systems, and instrumentation have been IECEx certified. Witness testing and inspection was undertaken by Bureau Veritas and a full legalised Iraq documentation bundle was delivered with the pumps. Delivery was achieved on a brief 38-weeks, regardless of the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic.
Oliver Brigginshaw, managing director of Amarinth, mentioned: “We are delighted to have delivered these pumps to the West Qurna-2 expansion venture, further underlining our dedication to initiatives in Iraq and the Middle East. We have successfully delivered orders previously to Cannon Artes, but this was the primary order Amarinth has obtained from SICIM, and we look forward to undertaking additional enterprise with them sooner or later.”
